Is the earth is only six thousand years old?
This is a myth.
Man’s traditions have taught us that the Earth Age we are living in now is
the first age and was created in Genesis 1:1 about six thousand years ago.
However, there are numerous references in the Bible to “of old,” which pertain
to an earth age that existed prior to the one we know today. There is no
dispute in the scientific community or among real Bible scholars that the Earth
is millions of years old. This fact is also supported by fossil remains
that have been carbon dated. We have what some call the city of Atlantis,
Stonehenge, the Sphinx and many other things that cannot be accounted for in a
six thousand-year-old Earth, as some so called Bible teachers would have us
believe.
