Questions & Answers
Is everyone born with free will?
The Bible is clear
on this and the answer is simple, but it is hard for most to understand.
No, not everyone is born with free will. Did Moses have free will?
No. Did Jonah have free will? No. Did Paul have free will?
No. These are just a few examples in the Bible where God chose the ultimate path
these men would follow. Let’s look at what the Bible has to say.
Ephesians 1 begins
Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints.
Here we see Paul was an Apostle by the will of God. Paul’s will was to
persecute Christians. God’s will overpowered Paul’s will and He had no
choice. You also notice Paul is talking to the Saints or chosen ones.
Verse 4-5 4According as He hath chosen us in Him before the
foundation of the world (there is the First Earth Age again) 5Having
predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself
according to the good pleasure of His will. Now, just in case you
think this means that these chosen ones have a free ride and do not sin, listen
to Verse 7. In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the
forgiveness of sins. The beauty of salvation is that we have
forgiveness of sins when we repent.
Now look at II
Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not
according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was
given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. Before this Earth Age
began. Romans 11:28 But as touching the election, they are beloved for
the fathers’ sakes. The real question is, do you have free will?
Are you one of God’s elect? Yes, if you have the blinders off your eyes
and understand the whole plan of God.
