Is there any place in the Bible that declares we have a choice about our
lives? Aren’t we born into a situation that determines how we will end
up?God made
this earth age to see if we would seek and follow His advice or just go
along with the multitude that follows man’s traditions. He left you a
wonderful book of instructions. In this book are all the answers to all
the questions you have ever wondered about. If you want to change your
life for the better, don’t blame your parents, teachers or even
preachers for not giving you good advice about how to live. He is honor
bound to bless you, because He can not break His word.
So the answer to your question is yes, there are
many places in the Bible that let us know that we have a lot to do with
where we are in life.
You might say, but I have made such a mess
of my life. There is no way God could forgive me.
Hey! Stop! God is a
big God! He is a loving God! He is a forgiving God.
Think about it for a
moment, if He could not and would not forgive us for messing up, there
would be no one left to work for Him, because there are no perfect
people.
Now get on with your life. Learn to study the Bible
with understanding on a consistent bases which pleases God.
